Telling Your Story
Coming towards the end of what can feel like a never ending January, usually I would have crashed and burned with new year’s resolutions by now. This year, I’m taking a kinder, more realistic approach to what I can achieve, and I invite you to do the same.
A Fresh Take on Old Goals
One goal I fell short of last year was wearing a sari every week. Life gets busy, and rushing before the school run left me with little time to explore the beauty of sari styling. This year, I’m setting a gentler goal: trying new ways to wear saris and carving out proper time to practice. Also over on insta I’ve posted the last installment of the sari saga, which has been a really fun project of turning my mum teaching me to pleat a sari into a mini drama.
Winter reflections
I’ve noticed a common thread in the work I’m drawn to—storytelling. Previously working museums, we told stories through objects. As a sustainable stylist, I help people tell their stories through the clothes they wear. Last year, I rediscovered my love of reading, which inspired me to start writing more. Blogging has been a joy, and I’ve even ventured into fiction writing!
Exploring Somatic Movement

Another exciting part of my 2025 journey is exploring empowerment through somatic movement with Rakhi Sachdev. The idea that our bodies hold onto stress and trauma resonates deeply with me. I want to deepen my connection with my body—not just for personal growth, but to enhance how I help my clients through sustainable styling.
I became fascinated with somatic movement after a series of transformative sessions with Maxine Brown at Squash. It was the highlight of my week, and it made me realize how often I stay in my head, ignoring what my body is trying to tell me. This year, I’m eager to explore the stories my body might hold and how that awareness can add another dimension to my styling work.
Let’s Make 2025 Your Year of Style
Storytelling will be my theme for 2025. Clothes are a powerful way to express who we are and where we want to go. If you feel like your wardrobe doesn’t quite tell the story you want, I’d love to help you change that.
This year, I’m committed to exploring storytelling in all its forms—through style, writing, movement, and more. If you’re ready to take control of your narrative and let your wardrobe reflect the true you, I’d love to work with you!
