Into the Unknown…
I can’t believe it’s already been a month since I left National Museums Liverpool—and what a month it has been! With our household full of Libras, I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday with an incredible trip to Budapest with some close friends. As well as hitting the spas I bagged some great vintage jewellery which I’m delighted with!

Having a little more time for reflection has allowed me to think about what excites me most in my new career path.

A highlight so far has been offering colour analysis sessions, a process that can serve as a gateway to viewing personal style as an essential form of self-care. I love the term "wearapy," coined by Shakaila Bells Forbes —it perfectly captures the idea of using your clothes to improve your well-being.
In just one hour, you can focus on yourself, explore how colours can be transformative, and perhaps become a bit bolder with your wardrobe choices.
The Power of Colour in Personal Style
One of the things I enjoy most is hearing people’s personal associations with different colours and helping them discover which hues truly shine against their skin. While colour analysis is just one tool in the larger process of personal styling, it’s incredibly useful to have a palette of shades that not only complement your complexion but also work together effortlessly in your wardrobe.

Curious about how a styling session works? Check out this short video that walks you through the process. It’s a special and fun way to dive into your personal style. I’ve also had several clients ask about purchasing styling sessions as a gift for friends, which I think is such a thoughtful idea. And yes—if you're getting organised early, gift vouchers (both physical and digital) are absolutely available for the holidays!
Wardrobe Detox: Make Space for What You Love
Another big step I’ve taken is doing a wardrobe detox of my own. Sorting through items that no longer serve me has been liberating, giving me more space to see the clothes I truly love and get more organised. If the idea of tackling your closet feels overwhelming, my Motivator Package is designed to help. We’ll explore the colours that best suit you and assess your wardrobe, all while uncovering your authentic personal style.

Freelance Adventures and Community Connections
In addition to styling, I’ve been fortunate enough to pick up some incredible freelance work with community-focused organisations. These projects have been so rewarding, and I’m grateful to be a part of them:
Squash’s Autumn Equinox: Providing support with evaluation.
Metal Culture’s Mystery Dreamers Project: An inspiring initiative.
Retrofit for All by Shortwork in Manchester: Supporting community research.
The chance to work with such innovative, community-driven projects has been an exciting new chapter in my journey, blending my passion for creativity, culture, and sustainability.
